Vacatu’s mission is to make your vacation personalized, economical and memorable. We are presenting a platform which authorizes direct communication enabling hosts to receive more bookings and favourable returns. For guests, Vacatu creates a trusted space where travel is affordable, properties and owners are verified, furthermore offering a multitude of rentals to choose from.
While booking rentals from different traditional websites, we began noticing a consistent pattern of increasing prices, rigid and complicated booking rules and lack of direct communication which paved the way for us to think about the other side of the coin: “The owners of these properties. ” We started by connecting and communicating with the proprietors throughout Europe. After numerous conversations, we concluded that these websites were not only rigid for the guests but for the property owners as well. Obstacles such as middlemen meddling with the businesses and taking a huge share of the returns were at the heart of every conversation. This is where Vacatu stepped in. Our idea is to cater to the needs of both “the property owners” and “the guests” enabling transparency, fairness and an owner-first advertising model.
